A memorial to the members of the Cretan Jewish community who perished during the Shoa can be found immediately outside the door in the southern wall that leads to the main women's section and the Mikveh. The names of the victims are listed on bronze plaques.

This was the only memorial to the Cretan Jewish victims of the Shoa until the inauguration of a municipal monument in October 2013.
